Our family moved to California in 2002 and one of the things we missed the most was having fresh-baked empanadas. It all started from our humble little kitchen at home when we decided that Santa Barbara would be happy with our empanadas.
From day one our promise was to use the best available ingredients and to make everything fresh from scratch.
We gathered a few hundred dollars and bought a small machine to roll the dough. Friends supported us at first until enough people found out we were making them.
After a few months we grew so much that we needed a real commercial kitchen. We moved to the Goodland Kitchen with Argentinian Chef Tomas Baistrocchi and started our pop-up venture where new friends were made. Thats where the magic started happening...a Fellini movie as some would say!
In late 2015 we moved to new kitchen in downtown Santa Barbara and catering became our main focus. We adquire a mobile wood-fired oven started baking empanadas on the road for weddings, rehearsals and corporate events.
